Text of the report, stemming from Wilkins' objections to certain expenses incurred as provider of rations to various US Army troops from October 1, 1801 to September 30, 1802, in supposed violation of his contract with the Secretary of War; committee resolved that the petition not be granted. Includes communications from William Simmons of the Comptroller's Office and from Auditor Peter Hagner. Dated March 29, 1824 on upper wrapper ('Read: Ordered that it lie upon the table'; upper wrapper). Probable table copy; unidentified (secretarial?) holograph notes in black ink on upper wrapper read: 'Report / Chas. Wilkins / Committee / Jan 26 1825 / Repd. to the Committee of Claims'; pencil holograph below this (also unidentified) reads: 'Copy report and all papers with [or 'within'?] W.
