Slight horizontal crease to midsection; slight browning to edges; with holograph addressed envelope (with cancelled stamp) present. Blunden (1896-1974), English poet and critic; professor of English Literature at Tokyo (1924-27); on staff of the Times Literary Supplement from 1943 on; known for his series of literary biographies (Lamb, Leigh Hunt, Keats, and others) and as editor of the works of John Clare, Christopher Smart, and others.
