From the library of noted poet/academic William Matchett with his bookplate and date (1965) on the ffep; previous owner’s signature to the top of the title page in Vol. 2 (ca. 1840s) 4.75 x 7.5 in. xii + 13-244pp.; 276pp. Rebound (ca. 1950s) in quarter brown cloth over marled boards, and simple gilt ruled spines and titles; with plain endpapers. Bindings are about Fine; interior has some wear, water staining at the corners affecting just a few pages here and there; volume 2 has some foxing throughout. Overall a Very Good set.
