Three volume set: 679; 643; 629pp., with many b/w photos and portraits throughout. All three with indexes. Original green ribbed cloth over boards, with gilt titles on spines. Moderate wear to the cloth, some bumping to the corners, one signature is loose in Vol. I, else a Very Good set. // Vol. I is a general history of the area, with lots of background; Vol. II & III contain the biographies of Seattle’s prominent citizens (including those who could afford to pay to be in the book) Judge Hanford, an early pioneer, has written a reliable history of Seattle and vicinity.
