Original dark burgundy cloth over boards, with gilt titles on spine, with small gilt decoration on the front boards. A Very Good set, both volumes have wear to the top and bottom of the spine, light shelfwear, and a bump to the front boards. // A spiritual autobiography that serves as a primary source for Quaker history, focusing on Fox's personal revelations, his clashes with authorities, and his belief in direct access to the Divine. One of the great religious autobiographies, and has its place with the “Confessions” of St. Augustine.
