This beautiful 6-volume folio set is bound in custom full morocco bindings, spines with raised bands and gilt titling, each volume featuring four elaborate square pewter devices decorated with floral designs (1.375 x 1.375 inches) on upper cover, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. The set is bound in three colors (two volumes of each): L'Enfern/Inferno in a lustrous red morocco, Le Purgatoire/Purgatorio in a rich purple morocco, and Le Paradis/Paradiso in black morocco (spines somewhat faded, some rubbing).
