Spine tanned, a couple of spots to the front board, and light shelfwear, else a nice copy in Very Good condition; interior is clean, binding tight. // To Cuba and Back is travel narrative of his trip to Cuba in 1859, written while the United States was contemplating the annexation of the island nation. Dana booked a passage on the steamer Cahawba to experience Cuba for himself. The book covers his experiences on the island including the people, customs, history, and the rich cultural heritage of the Cuban people.
