One of one hundred and seventy-five signed and numbered copies, signed by Aliesen and Chris Stern; this being #164. 6.5 x 9.75 in. [54]pp., designed and printed letterpress by Chris Stern using Original Old Caslon No. 337 'cast with long descenders.' The watermarked text paper is a mouldmade German import called Nideggen. The book covers were hand-painted and torn from sheets of Indian Bagasse, a paper made from cotton, jute, and sugar cane fibers. The inside covers and labels were painted with an acrylic and cellulose medium. The text-block is sewn on linen tapes and laced through the paper covers. Painted title-label, letterpressed, set on the front cover. A Fine copy. // The author, having exiled herself to British Columbia, remains of the Northwest; and as such, one of this region's finest poets. A scarce book, and a very nice example of Chris Stern's excellent design.
