Collated and complete with 'vignette' title and 104 hand-colored maps (see note) as called for, with the addition of numerous illustrations in text, some hand-colored. PLEASE NOTE: Map 26 - the left hand side of 'Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island' has significant tears, chipping, and loss. Bound in original quarter black leather over brown cloth stamped in gilt and blind, marbled edges and endpapers (binding quite rubbed with chips and tears to leather; some leaves disbound but present, some foxing and stains and tears to margins; 1 map defective as noted). Some of the maps first appeared in 'Colton's General Atlas', which Fisher had written the text for.
