A very good set in period 3/4 brown calf over marbled boards, spine with contrasting red and green morocco labels, and floral morifs in gilt, speckled edges (hinges renewed with brown linen, leather coated with a laquer finish, boards rubbed, some foxing to text). PROVENANCE: Armorial bookplates in each volume of Howard Douglas Leonard Galton; ink inscription in each volume of noted American poet William Matchett.
