Three volumes in one, featuring the five books that make up the Oeuvres: 347pp. + 7pp. of tables; 469pp. + 7pp. of tables; 166pp. + 70pp. for Pantagrueline Prognostication. Bottle engraving with typographic text is found on p.157 of book V. Second book, signature X lacks leaf Xij (page 129-130) and its unsigned conjugate [Xxi] (page 147-148), else complete. Although the title page of this work is dated 1558, it was issued in 1584 at the earliest, perhaps even as late as 1600. Bound in period calf over boards, with raised bands and gilt tooled spine compartments; all edges marbled. Wear to the leather, chip to the bottom of the spine, with moderate wear along the top, and corners rubbed.
