Two original photographs of Walter Farley and horses, one inscribed by Walter Farley. The first is a fine original color photograph of a grinning Farley astride his stunning Appaloosa mare 'Luzon', signed and inscribed by noted author Walter Farley of 'Black Stallion' fame to Patricia and Elliott Roosevelt (son and daughter-in-law of FDR and Eleanor): 'For our good friends Patty and Elliott Walter Farley + 'Luzon'. 8 x 10 vertical (minor wear). The second is a b/w photo by Hank Cohen (stamped on the back) of Walter Farley shaking hands with Patricia Roosevelt at an equestrian event in Florida, trailers and a rider in competition behind them. 8 x 10 horizontal (minor wear).
