Bold signature and inscription on blank leaf (recto only), with original mailing envelope (stamped and with unidentified holograph return address; postmarked April 5, 1936, Grand Central Annex, New York City) present. 'Sincerely yours / Lucrezia Bori'. 3 1/4' x 5 1/8' (8.3 x 12.9 cm); deckle right-hand edge. Bori (1887-1960; born Lucrecia Borja), Spanish-born operatic soprano; star of the Metropolitan Opera, 1912-15 and 1919-36; first woman to join the board of directors of the New York Metropolitan Opera Company.
