One of 10 deluxe copies bound in full vellum, with an additional suite of prints, each signed and numbered by the artist. Text printed letterpress by Jonathan Clark on Arches paper. Text in English and Latin on opposing pages. The English translation, once thought to be by Dryden, was first published by Tonson in 1709. The illustrations are reminiscent of Alphonse Mucha. This copy has a cracked foredge to the slipcase.Illustrated with original wood-engravings by Hans Ulrich.
