Bound in full dark brown morocco by Hayday, gilt-stamped and decorated spine with raised bands, gilt-ruled and decorated covers, gilt inner dentelles, plain endpapers, a.e.g. Exterior as noted (wear chiefly to upper part of spine edge; slight rubbing to covers and foredges); slight internal browning, chiefly to endpapers; previous owner's ink signature and inscription on front free endpaper, else a very serviceable copy of a wonderfully illustrated edition.
