The first volume is 406pp., the second 394pp. (volume two lacks title page and frontispiece). Bound by W. Roach, New York, in three quarter green morocco over matching marbled boards, with gilt-stamped spines with raised bands and matching marbled endpapers, t.e.g. 11 engraved plates throughout both volumes.Rubbing along the edges, especially at the corners, usual fading to the green morocco at the spine and end-tips; interal foxing to the text and plates, but not bad. Overall a Very Good copy.
