Bound in contemporary calf with plain raised bands ruled in gilt, and red gilt stamped title label on spine, front and rear panels with a simple border rule. Provenance: armorial bookplate of Richard Hopton of Canon Frome Herefordshire. Leather is rubbed, corners bumped, spine worn especially at the top and bottom, else a Very Good copy; interior is clean and bright.
