Large paper edition. A near fine set, beautifully bound in period full light brown straight-grained morocco (often called 'Russia'), spine with raised bands, red leather labels, gilt tooling, and elaborate decoration in blind, covers feature a repeating gilt border enclosing a more elaborate repeating border in blind, gilt-tooled inner dentelles, marbled edges and endpapers (minor wear, some darkening to spines). The red leather spine labels are modern replacements.Profusely illustrated with 336 copper plates. Ink signature of George Rowley in each volume, dated 1820.
