An interesting adendum to the Chimney-Sweep story is a chapter discussing true stories of horror involving child slaves and death in the sweep industry. VG- in 3/4 purple calf over marbled boards (surface layer of leather has been mostly pealed away overall, small chips to spine along raised bands, spine blackened, small cracks to spine, all edges and corners rubbed, moderate overall wear and soiling to marbled boards, light foxing to pages). Binding is tight.
