Bound in half brown calf over light brown wood-patterned boards, gilt-stamped spine, plain endpapers, all edges untrimmed, in publisher's matching wood-patterned heavy stock cardboard slipcase (slight sunning to spine; slipcase has slight wear and a hint of cracking). [95] pages (including plates; unpaginated). Story of the 'blessed Odo', who progresses from the secular state of a shepherd through various stages of sanctity prior to his consecration as a bishop. One of 3290 copies (the entire edition, of which 3250 were for sale; this copy is unnumbered), designed by William Dana Orcutt, printed on Italian handmade Fabriano Mills paper, with typography, presswork and binding by the Plimpton Press, Norwood, Massachusetts, October, 1928, under Orcutt's supervision.
