Artist Jan Stussy's copy with a somewhat abstracted reddish watercolor sketch of a plant of tree in a pot on inner jacket flap, signed two pages later in same medium, also signed in black ink (has minor wear and tears to wraps, bump to lower corners). PROVENANCE: From the library and with the signature of Jan Stussy (1922-1990), noted artist and Academy Award-winning filmmaker. 'Stussy, a West Coast artist with works in many museums and private collections... was a former chairman of the art department at UCLA and the first artist to be appointed as a senior professor by the university. Although he was primarily known as a prolific painter, with some 5,000 works to his credit, Mr. Stussy frequently worked in other artistic arenas.
