This extramely scarce Depression-era trade catalog (issued ca. 1933 as dated from the Automobile section) was printed in sections (see below), and distributed in a large, heavy two-post binding of black imitation leather. The front cover of this copy is lacking, and has been functionally if unatractively replaced. Each section has its own cover/title page and back cover, and are individually paginated (and will likely have also been distributed separately). Several of the sections have issues. Pagination totals over 2000 pages. The production values of this work reflect the straightened circumstances of the Depression era. Sections: 1. CARPENTERS' MACHINISTS' AND MECHANICS' TOOLS - AUTOMOTIVE SUNDRIES. 304 pages (first 10 leaves lacking upper quarter with loss; with staining and wear). 2. GENERAL INDEX. 24 pages (heavy chipping and tears with losss). 3. MECHANICS' AND MACHINISTS' TOOLS. 246 pages. No defects. 4. FARM AND GARDEN SUPPLIES. 4 page index + pages 293-380 complete (index has some chipping and tears). This section is complete despite the odd pagination. 5. BUILDERS' HARDWARE PAINTS... SUNDRIES PAINT BRUSHES. [5]+ pages 502 to 775. No defects. 6. HEAVY AND MISCELLANEOUS HARDWARE. iv, pp 802-988. No defects. 7.
