This unique mock-up created by publisher Zoland Books uses the 1978 French hardcover edition ('Hibou Blanc et Souris Bleue' published by Ecole des Loisirs) as the basis for a working proof of Levertov's translation. Starting with the front cover, followed by a hand-lettered, new copyright page, and then the entire text, with Levertov's English version typeset and pasted over the French original text, preserving Michel Gay's delightful color illustrations.
