With a striking full-page original ink drawing of the title character by Hans Erni on half-title, signed and inscribed by artist, and dated August 8th, 1972 (just before the opening of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich). The drawing shows a seated younger Milo, nude in profile. The text is a dramatized account of the adventures of Milo of Croton, six-time Olympic champion, five-time Periodonikes, and military hero. Oversized folio (16.5 inches tall x 7.75 inches wide). A very good copy in the original brown imitation pictorial leather (spine a bit cocked, light wear).Illustrated by Hans Erni.
