Wright of London, spines with raised bands and elaborate gilt floral tooling within compartments bordered with twin gilt rules, covers feature an elaborate, extra-wide gilt floral bordered, surrounded by triple gilt rules, with each panel featuring a central device in gilt of three putti stepping through a laurel wreath, while carrying a basket of melons and fruit, edges of boards feature a single gilt rule, inner dentelles feature a border of floral and geometric tooling, all edges gilt (minor rubbing; small ink name on endpaper in first volume).B/w Engraved Illustrations.
