Signed by author. The extremely rare self-published first book by this noted Arkansas poet, who attained wide public recognition after his reading during President Bill Clinton's second inauguration. The book, published when the author was 22, was printed in a small edition, few of which survive - Worldcat records only two such copies. The text is entirely printed in green ink, and this copy is signed by author in green ink on title page. He has also supplied a missing word by hand on page 6. Original cream stapled wraps printed in green (has some darkening to edges of binding, slight wear). Notes:.
