Exceptionally scarce work on Frank S. Matsura (born Matsuura Sakae in Japan), a prominent photographer in Okanogan from 1907 till his death in 1913. This volume collects his views of Native Americans from the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, and was issued in a small edition for presentation. Letterpress text, illustrated with 24 tipped-in original photographs (printed from scans of the original negatives). Original two-tone brown and tan cloth titled in red, stab-bound and sewn (like a photograph album). Housed in original brown cloth clamshell presentation case. Notes: Text by E. Richard Hart.
