First edition of this classic work by the 'Father of American Geography'. 14 of the 17 maps are present in full, the other 3 (the frontispiece of Europe, as well as Germany, and Hindoostan) failed at the folds and are partial. All of the maps have wear, some have old tape reinforcement to rectos.
